Fees & Rebates

Session Fees

Those on a MHCP receive a $145.25 Medicare rebate with an out-of-pocket "gap" fee of $135 per session of the total cost. Private paying client fee is $280 (please check if you have private health rebates).

We currently offer services between 8:30am and 7pm (appointment times differ depending on the day). After-hour appointments start at 3:30pm and include a surcharge.

Policies

Please note that we have a strict no-show and late notice policy (see FAQ).

SVM Psychology will adhere to the Government policies and AHPRA/APS guidelines to ensure everyone's well-being.

Medicare Rebates

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan/referral from your GP or psychiatrist, you may be eligible for up to 10 Medicare rebates ($145.25 per session) per calendar year.

We must receive your referral before your first appointment to claim Medicare rebates.

Private Health Rebates

If you are not eligible for Medicare rebates, you may be eligible for private health rebates.

Please check directly with your private health fund prior to your appointment.
