We operate as a service provider to independent practitioners, giving you the infrastructure while you retain autonomy over your clinical work. We are a growing boutique psychology practice, delivering high-quality, collaborative, and client-centred care. We provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore challenges, build resilience, and improve their mental well-being and quality of life.
Our clinicians deliver evidence-based therapies tailored to each client’s unique needs, supporting presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, neurodiversity, and life transitions. Our team values reflect meaningful therapeutic relationships and long-term positive outcomes. What SVM Psychology offers
SVM Psychology provides a boutique, evidence-based practice environment designed to support long-term clinician growth and autonomy. We offer high-quality consulting rooms, administrative and intake infrastructure, digital systems and screening platforms (including access to selected tools such as Novopsych), and referral pathways connected with GPs, psychiatrists, and allied health networks.
Operating under a competitive percentage split contractor model, clinicians maintain autonomy over their clinical work, niche, and client relationships while benefiting from an established platform focused on sustainable caseload development, niche expertise, and collaborative multidisciplinary care. The model is well-suited to clinicians bringing their own referral base, as well as those intentionally building and refining their practice over time.
Whether you're a passionate psychologist looking to grow your caseload or join a team, a healthcare collaborator such as a general practitioner or psychiatrist, or a collaborative admin officer looking to support a growing team, we'd be happy to hear from you!
We are actively seeking clinicians who can deliver
1. Assessment Psychologist
- ADHD assessments (child and/or adult)
- ASD assessments (child and/or adult)
- Cognitive, diagnostic, and functional assessments (child and/or adult)
2. Therapy-Focused Clinicians
- General or clinical psychologists with a clear or emerging niche
- Trauma-informed clinician with training in schema therapy, parts work, EMDR and more.
- Ability to build and maintain a caseload (with or without existing clients)
- Interest in long-term collaboration with SVM Psychology
3. Medical & Cross-Referral Partners
We are also open to collaboration with:
- GPs with a strong focus on mental health consultations, helping with MHCP, EDTP, etc., as you work both independently and collaborate with our referral pathway.
- Psychiatrists interested in a shared-care referral pathway where you can locum with us to consult patients in the Milton area.
About You
- Passionate clinician wanting to build a meaningful practice.
- Established clinical capability, good communicator, has professional maturity, and practices with high ethical standards.
- Looking to scale a consistent caseload over time.
- Interested in developing a niche or special interest area; however, not required.
- Comfortable working independently with autonomy and collaborating as an active team member within the practice network.
- Access to your specific assessment batteries relevant to your practice.
- Strong report writing and diagnostic formulation skills.
- Registered with AHPRA (Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist / relevant)
- Have working rights in Australia.
